Injuries/Pain
It can feel easy to throw in the towel and become discouraged (even depressed) when struggling with pain. The fact is, injuries are inevitable. We will not go through life without getting hurt but we can manage these circumstances. We can learn how to work around it, as well as reduce the risk for future occurrences.
Aesthetics vs Reality
Most of us want to look better. In my experience, however, any goal based on aesthetics are short lived. Obsessing over the mirror or scale becomes a self destructing way of life. In addition, you may end up looking great but still feel horrible. Your physique may be toned from a short duration of full throttle training but your joints can be weak, vulnerable, and perhaps screaming in pain. Movement training will not only give you a better quality of life but also yield the aesthetics most are looking to achieve. This is a more positive, healthier, and successful mindset to have.
